What "Sell" and "Share" Mean Here

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the words "sell" and "share" have specific and broad meanings. "Sell" means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Share" means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising — even when no money changes hands. In practice, this covers activity like handing off browsing history, device identifiers, or contact details to ad networks that build profiles of you across websites.

WirelessPlanHub is a static comparison and affiliate site. We do not run ad networks, we do not embed third-party tracking pixels, and we do not transmit visitor information to advertising vendors. The only outbound signals from your visit are the ordinary requests your browser sends to fetch this page, plus any affiliate click you initiate yourself by following a "View on Cricket Wireless" style link, which the destination carrier handles under its own privacy policy.

Nothing to Opt Out Of Today — and How We Keep It That Way

Because we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, an opt-out request submitted today has no downstream data flow to stop. We are recording the request anyway, on this device, so that if our practices ever change we can honor your prior expression of choice.

If our sale or share status ever changes — for example, if we add an advertising partner that would qualify — we will publish a functional opt-out mechanism on this page, add a persistent "Your Privacy Choices" link to the site header in addition to the footer, and update the effective date above. We will not begin any new sale or share until that mechanism is live.

Manual Submission by Email

If you would rather submit your opt-out request in writing, or if you want a copy of the request in your own records, send an email to contact@wirelessplanhub.example with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share Request." Please include a statement that you are exercising your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. You do not need to include a government ID, account number, or any other identifier — see the identity-verification statement below.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Global Privacy Control is a browser-level signal that tells websites you do not want your personal information sold or shared. WirelessPlanHub honors GPC by design: because we run no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no third-party embedded content that would attach to a visitor, there is no downstream request to suppress when a GPC header arrives. Your browser sends the header; our server treats the request the same as any other page load, and no data is passed to any third party for advertising purposes.

If we ever introduce technology that would trigger a sale or share, we will wire GPC directly into that technology so that any browser sending the header is treated as having submitted an opt-out request, without any further action on your part. This will apply on a per-browser basis for visitors who have not otherwise identified themselves.

Authorized-Agent Submissions

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. To do so, have your agent email contact@wirelessplanhub.example with:

• A statement that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf for the purpose of exercising your Do Not Sell or Share right.
• Written permission from you naming the agent (a signed statement or an email from you to the agent that the agent forwards is sufficient).
• The email address or browser identifier for which the preference should be recorded, if any.

Because we do not currently sell or share personal information, an agent-submitted opt-out is recorded the same way as a direct submission: as a forward-looking preference to be honored if our practices ever change.

No Identity Verification Required

California law does not require a business to verify a consumer's identity in order to process a Do Not Sell or Share request, and we do not do so. You do not need to create an account, provide a government ID, confirm an email address, answer security questions, or supply any other identifier to submit an opt-out. A statement of your request is enough.

Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

Under CPRA, consumers have a separate right to limit the use and disclosure of "sensitive personal information" — a category that includes precise geolocation, government identifiers, financial account credentials, contents of private communications, biometric data, genetic data, health data, and race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation data.

WirelessPlanHub does not collect or process sensitive personal information. The interactive tools on this site accept only a monthly cost figure, a number of phone lines, a carrier selection, and a five-digit ZIP code, and those values remain in your browser except when the ZIP code is sent to AT&T's coverage map through a link you initiate. Because we do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond what is strictly necessary to render the page you asked for, there is nothing to limit. If our practices ever change and we begin collecting a category of sensitive information, we will add a corresponding "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" control on this page.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. Every visitor sees the same plans, the same comparison table, the same savings calculator, the same coverage checker, and the same FAQ regardless of whether they have submitted an opt-out request, enabled Global Privacy Control, or asked us to delete their contact-form message. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information and we do not condition access to any feature on your privacy choices.

Multistate Equivalent Rights

Consumers who reside outside California have equivalent rights under a growing number of state privacy laws. WirelessPlanHub treats every visitor's opt-out request the same way, but for clarity here is how we handle the equivalents in each state that currently has an in-effect comprehensive privacy law.

Virginia — VCDPA

The Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act gives Virginia residents the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. Submit any of these requests to contact@wirelessplanhub.example. We do not currently engage in any of the covered processing, so your request is recorded prospectively.

Colorado — CPA

The Colorado Privacy Act provides the same opt-outs for targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. Colorado also requires businesses to honor a Universal Opt-Out Mechanism (UOOM), of which GPC is an approved implementation. We honor GPC by design as described above.

Connecticut — CTDPA

The Connecticut Data Privacy Act mirrors the Virginia and Colorado opt-outs and also requires businesses to honor an opt-out preference signal. GPC satisfies this requirement.

Utah — UCPA

The Utah Consumer Privacy Act provides an opt-out from targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. Submit requests to the same email address above.

Texas — TDPSA

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act provides opt-outs from targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and profiling in furtherance of a decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect. Texas requires businesses that sell sensitive or biometric personal data to display a specific notice; we do not sell either category and therefore no such notice is required.

Oregon — OCPA

The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act provides the same opt-outs and also requires recognition of a universal opt-out preference signal such as GPC.

Delaware, New Hampshire, and New Jersey

The Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, the New Hampshire Data Privacy Act, and the New Jersey Data Privacy Act each provide equivalent opt-out rights covering targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. New Jersey and Delaware also require honoring a universal opt-out preference signal for targeted advertising and sale. Requests can be sent to contact@wirelessplanhub.example.

This list is current as of the effective date shown at the top of this page. If your state has since enacted a comparable law, the same email address will reach us and we will honor equivalent rights.
